In a Juventus 2-1 win over Lazio, 35 year-old Cristiano Ronaldo achieved yet another remarkable feat.
He became the first player in history to score 50 goals in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga.
"When Cristiano smells blood… He's extraordinary, as he recovers so quickly between games...It's not just physical, but psychological....He could be someone who uses up so much energy in each game, but he recovers it every time and he's world class in the mind as well as the legs", Juventus Coach Maurizio Sarri said as he lauded CR7 and his individual brilliance.
The five time Ballon d'Or winner currently stands 30 goals this season and has four matches left to try and beat the Serie A record of 36 goals in a season which was set by Gonzalo Higuain with Napoli in 2015-16.
