Selena would have celebrated her 50th birthday today. She was tragically murdered by her friend and manager on March 31st 1995.

Selena will always be remembered as one of the most influential Latin artists in history.

On This Day In 1858, The world's first telephone was installed at the Charles Williams Jr. House in Somerville, Massachuetts.

The house was named for Charles Williams Jr. who was a manufacturer of electrical instruments in Boston. Thomas Watson and Alexander Graham Bell were experimenting with phones in 1875 at Williams's shop when they heard sounds being transmitted.

The first telephone installed was connected from the Williams Jr. House to the shop on Court Street in Boston.

Curry once again added to his NBA Draft status vs the Mountaineers.

On December 9th 2009 at the Jimmy V Classic, Davidson Wildcats took on the West Viriginia Mountaineers at Madison Square Garden.

In a true back and forth showdown between both schools, Curry would struggle a bit in the first half but as the 4th quarter began to wind down in the last 6 minutes he would proved his worth as a player.

He would finish with 27 points and 10 assists.
