After attempting to make a comeback many times over the last few years, Blackberry found a new licensee this year from a phone manufacturing company called OnwardMobility.
The OnwardMobility version of the Blackberry will run on Android with a 5G connection. It plans to debut in 2021.
"Enterprise professionals are eager for secure 5G devices that enable productivity, without sacrificing the user experience...BlackBerry smartphones are known for protecting communications, privacy, and data.", Peter Franklin, CEO of OnwardMobility said in a statement.
For those who love typing on a physical keyboard and top notch security, this new Blackberry may just be worth considering.
