Simon Cowell is recovering from a successful back surgery following a bike accident at his California home on Saturday.
Simon was testing his new electric bike in the courtyard at his house in Malibu when he fell off and was rushed to hospital.
He underwent a five hour surgery that night and had a metal rod inserted into his back.
“The injuries are bad but he’s also been told he was lucky,” a source told People magazine.
