28 years ago today, the first UEFA Champions League Final took place at Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany between Olympique de Marseille and AC Milan.
Marseille defender Basile Boil would score the only point of the match with a header in the 43rd minute. It is still the only time a French club has held the title as the best team in Europe.
