Ken Griffey Jr's contributions to baseball are transcendent. (c)Bleacher Report |
25 years ago today, rising MLB superstar Ken Griffey Jr. blasted his 200th Home Run. This would make him the 8th youngest player to do so.
Griffey's 1996 season would be of continued dominance as he hit 49 HRs, 140 RBIs, stole 16 bases while being awarded his 6th Gold Glove and 4th Silver Slugger.
