28 years ago today on the 28th day of the 7 month in 1993, MLB Superstar Ken Griffey Jr. tied the league record for most consecutive games with a home run.
It was his 8th straight game with a homer.
At that point, "The Kid" was already a four-time all star well on his way to legendary baseball status as one of the 2 best players of the 1990's.
