On This Day In 1982, video game "Pitfall" was released on Atari.
All players were given the task of controlling "Pitfall Harry" who had to collect all the treasures in a jungle in 20 minutes.
The Action-Adventure game was designed by David Crane, released by Activision and became the best selling video game of that year.
