Entire Spanish Village Goes Into Quarantine After 12 Year Old Tests Positive For COVID-19

Approximately 200 residents in the Spanish village of Sotillo de las Palomas are now under quarantine after a 12 year-old girl tested positive for the coronavirus.

With the overwhelming majority of the residents being elderly, the town believes it is in their best interests to take this step as Mayor Fernando Resino Carrillo has decreed that everyone will quarantine for ten days. 

He asked that no one go out unless it is for an emergency and he has limited grocery shopping to one person per household. 

278,782 Coronavirus cases and 28,434 deaths have been reported in the country of Spain.
