Alexei Navalny, Kremlin critic and Russian Opposition leader, was rushed to hospital after feeling extremely unwell on a flight from Russian city of Tomsk to Moscow. The airplane made an emergency landing in Omsk.
Navalny's spokeswoman, Kira Yarmysh said in a statement, "We assume that Alexey was poisoned with something mixed into the tea. It was the only thing that he drank in the morning. Doctors say the toxin was absorbed faster through the hot liquid....The evasive reaction of doctors only confirms that this is poisoning."
He is currently in Omsk emergency hospital and is in serious condition while being connected to a ventilator.
