In an update on the Beirut explosion, at least 80 people have been killed and 4,000 injured. It has not been confirmed as to what caused the explosion in the city's port area but there will be an investigation into a warehouse that stored tons of  explosive materials such as ammonium nitrate.

The blast generated seismic waves and shifts that equaled the magnitude of a 3.3 earthquake.

One person on Twitter said, "The coronavirus saved us" while showing a picture of her office.
