The first episode of 'The Richard Pryor Show' on NBC featured Pryor as the first Black President fielding questions about how he and his administration would handle current affairs of the United States and the world at large.
This hilarious comedy show only last four episodes. Many questioned why NBC would purposely decide to put one of television's most authentic shows and raw comedians in the middle of "Family Viewing Hour" on Tuesdays.
It also starred Robin Williams, John Witherspoon, Tim Reid, Marsha Warfield, Paul Mooney, Sandra Bernhard, Vic Dunlop, Edie McClurg and Allegra Allison.
