Corinne Bailey Rae's self-titled album was one of the world's biggest musical projects in 2006 and sold over 4 million copies worldwide. At the Grammy's the following year, she would receive nominations for Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
"Call Me When You Get This" is the 6th track on the album with was written by Bailey Rae and Steve Bush. It was also produced by Bush and Steve Chrisanthou.
