"I Go To The Rock" by Whitney Houston and the Georgia Mass Choir is the 5th track on 'The Preacher's Wife: Original Soundtrack Album'. The song was originally written by Dottie Rambo and produced by Houston Mervyn Warren for this album.
The soundtrack peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and was #1 on both the US Top Gospel Albums chart and US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Billboard chart.
Accolades included NAACP Award, Soul Train Music Award, Blockbuster Entertainment Award, Gospel Music Association Dove Award. It was also nominated at the Grammy Awards for Best R&B Album and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
