Music Throwback: "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" - Gil Scott-Heron

"The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" by Spoken-Word performer, poet, musician and author Gil Scott-Heron is the first track on his 1971 debut album titled 'Pieces of a Man'. 

The song was a slogan for Black Power movements in the 1960s and was inducted into the National Recording Registry in 2005.
