Brian McKnight's third studio, Anytime was released by Mercury Record in September 1997. It would be his last project with the record company as he would transition to Motown shortly after. ⁣

⁣Today's music throwback features the first song on the album "Anytime" which is a memorable R&B ballad among many. The hit track won a Soul Train award for Best R&B/Soul Single while also being nominated for MTV and Billboard awards.⁣
