On This Day In 2001, 'Mario Party 3' was released by Nintendo for its Nintendo 64 console after being developed by Hudson Soft.

The classic features the timeless 6 characters of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, Princess Peach and Donkey. The two new playable newcomers named Princess Daisy and Waluigi were not available in story mode.
