On This Day In 1889: The Wall Street Journal Was Published For The First Time

On This Day In 1889, The Wall Street Journal was create by Charles Dow, Edward Jones and Charles Bergstresser.


The three reporters who also founded The Dow Jones Company started of with 'The Journal' as one of the products for the company.

After moving all of their news of the stock exchange to "Customers' Afternoon Letter', they then converted it into WSJ.
