The Proud Family is back!
In a virtual reunion yesterday featuring Kyla Pratt (Penny Proud), Tommy Davidson (Oscar Proud), Paula Jai Parker (Trudy Proud), Jo Marie Payton (Suga Mama) and Cedric the Entertainer (Uncle Bobby) it was announced that Keke Palmer will be joining the gang.
Palmer will play the role of Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, a fierce and relentless 14-year-old activist who stands on her own two feet.
It has not been announced when the show will stream on Disney+.
