J. Cole took to social media yesterday to give his fans an update regarding his forthcoming album The Fall Off. "No date for the album yet, taking my time, still finishing.", the rapper said in a statement on Twitter.

However, he announced that he would be dropping the first 2 songs from the album today at 10PM. The first single is titled The Climb Back which is produced solely by Cole while the next track, Lion King On Ice is produced by Jetson, T-Minus as well as J. Cole.

The Jumpman Logo To Appear On NBA Statement Edition Uniforms In 2020-2021 Season

From the 2020-2021 NBA Season, the Jordan Brand's logo will appear on all NBA Statement Edition Uniforms.

In a statement on Nike's website, the Statement Edition designs will be inspired by each individual team and will set the tone for key match-ups. The logo will appear on the right leg of the short and on the right shoulder of the jersey on all uniforms. 

The brand has outfitted the NBA All-Star Game for the last three years, and sponsors French football club PSG as well as the Michael Jordan owned Charlotte Hornets since 2017.

The Jordan Brand Statement Edition uniforms will hit the shelves in October 2020.

'Anti-Feminist' Lawyer Identified As Gunman Who Ambushed Judge Esther Salas' Family Then Committed Suicide

The dead suspect in the killing of Judge Esther Salas's son has been identified as Roy Den Hollander, a self-proclaimed anti-feminist and lawyer in Manhattan, the FBI confirmed.

The lawyer's body was found in a car in Rockland, New York as he died of a self-inflicted gunshot. A FedEx package addressed to Judge Salas was also discovered in the car. 

Hollander, in 2015 had a previous case in front of the judge, where he represented a woman who wanted to register for the military draft. Before the case was concluded, he was replaced as the woman's attorney. The woman's current lawyer could not be reached and the court docket has not indicated why Hollander was replaced.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said the shooting was "a brazen and cowardly act of gun violence at their home in North Brunswick. We give our full support to Judge Salas and her husband at this most trying time. This is an unconscionable tragedy."

On This Day in 1943, hit film Stormy Weather premiered in the United States. Directed by Andrew L. Stone, it is one of the first Hollywood musicals to feature an African-American cast of talent which included Lena Horne, Katherine Dunham, Cab Calloway, Bill Robinson, Fats Waller, Ada Brown, Dizzy Gillespie and the Nicholas Brothers.

The film opened new doors for Black people in Hollywood.

Black-ish and Grown-ish Actress Yara Shahidi has signed an exclusive deal with ABC Studios after launching production company 7th Sun with her Mother, Keri Shahidi. 

They inked this overall deal to champion diversity and promote creators of color within the industry. The company will also be added to Disney Television Studios. 

 “I’m thrilled to be partnering with my home family, ABC Studios, in this exciting next chapter, alongside my family. It’s exciting to add our production company to the roster of my peers and mentors who are also actively committed to sharing meaningful stories” Shahidi said in a statement.

In a Juventus 2-1 win over Lazio, 35 year-old Cristiano Ronaldo achieved yet another remarkable feat.

He became the first player in history to score 50 goals in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga.

On Monday, Jeff Bezos added a record $13 Billion to his net worth. It was the largest jump of any individual's net worth in Bloomberg's Billionaire Index history.

This comes after Amazon. Inc experienced a seven percent increase in stock price. Bezos is now worth $189.3 Billion.

His ex-wife, Mackenzie Bezos's net worth rose by $4.6 Billion on Monday, making her the 13th richest person on the planet.

Almost over 26 years after working on John Grisham's The Pelican Brief, Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington are set to star in a film adaptation of Rumaan Alam's upcoming novel Leave The World Behind. 

The Netflix film will be written and directed by Sam Esmail of Mr. Robot and Homecoming.  Alam will serve as Executive Producer. Roberts, Washington, Esmail and Chad Hamilton will all stand as producers. 

The book version is set to publish this forthcoming October.
