Bill Gates Says Coronavirus Testing Is a "Complete Waste".

Bill Gates - Wikipedia

In a CNBC interview, Bill Gates admonished coronavirus testing calling them a "complete waste" due to lack of speed the results take to come back.

"That test is a complete waste. And to all these numbers about how much we test, the majority is just complete waste..."The simplest thing, which has to do with such insanity, is you should not reimburse somebody for getting a test that it takes more than 48 hours to get the result back," he said.

Despite getting off to a slow start in testing, the United States have administered over 750,000 since Tuesday, which triples the amount given in April according to the Covid Tracking Project.

Through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the former founder and CEO of Microsoft has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to vaccinations and treatment for the Coronavirus.
