New season. New stadium. Same teams. Same result.
The Eagles could not even muster a single point as loud boos rang out from fans in a 17-0 Bucs win.
In the heat of that Week 1 season, one would have thought that Tampa Bay would continue on their reign of dominance throughout the 2003 season but that was not the case at all.

"Futures made of virtual insanity now
Always seem to, be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting, our new technology
Oh, now there is no sound for we all live underground."
Jamiroquai sent the world a message about the use of technology in 1996 with hit single "Virtual Insanity".
This was roughly a decade before Facebook, Twitter and the release of the iPhone. One could believe that co-writers of the song, Jay Kay and Toby Smith (RIP) would be a little more worried now.
The British funk-pop band released it as their second single from their 3rd album, Travelling Without Moving. While the content of the song was about the future of the digital world, the music video embraced that concept to a great degree and was recognized for doing so. As it was directed by Jonathan Glazer, it later recieved 10 nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards and took home 4 trophies including Best Video of the Year.

It's been called one of the greatest game to date and has received on PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions a 9.3 and 9.4 out of 10. In 2014, Owen S. Good of Polygon wrote that NFL 2K5 was "sports video gaming's King Arthur, eternally populist, noble and heroic, champion of an age long ago enough to make its triumphs soar and its shortcomings recede to nothingness". 2K5 was the last NFL 2K game to be released before Electronic Arts (EA) signed an exclusive rights agreement with the National Football League (NFL) to make 2K's rival Madden NFL series the only officially licensed NFL game and was also the last game still being developed by Sega.
